Sylvia has trained with choral works; relaxed with folk songs; and played the flute with wind bands, classically and at folk clubs.

She has blown whistles, recorders and flutes since she was a small child, and has always found it easy to remember tunes and words. Working in conjunction with Horsham Symphony orchestra she introduced the five folk songs used by Vaughan Williams in his 'Fantasia on Sussex Folk Tunes'.

- I focus on good tunes; they're what make beautiful music exciting and entertaining.

Peter plays the guitar. He has dragged himself out of his long and raucous past of skiffle, rock and roll and shanty bands (Full Shanty), through writing for and singing acapella with Resolution, to approach a level of refinement (just) acceptable by Sylvia.

On the plus side, he started playing the piano at the age of four; has written and arranged music for various things, including two musicals; and is a member of that august body The Performing Rights Society by dint of his involvement in writing some successful music for TV.

- to have the opportunity to create the musical space into which Sylvia's wonderful voice can echo is very, very rewarding - not as relaxing as singing rock, but definitely more exciting.
